A generous Sunshine supporter and Syracuse University ticket holder has donated 2 tickets to the Louisville-SU Men's Basketball game to Sunshine. These tickets are located in the Aisle 124 Row L. As of this morning, there were 20 tickets left in Aisle 124. Tickets in this section are currently selling for $125 a piece.
Make a donation of $25 or more to Sunshine Horses and type "SU" in the notes section. One lucky donor will be randomly selected to receive the tickets. Sunshine hopes to raise $250 in this campaign.
This will cover the monthly cost to take care of Al, one of our adoptable horses.
Al is a 22 year old Standardbred Gelding who came to Sunshine after 11 years serving as a carriage horse in Manhattan. All that time on the concrete and pavement put a lot of stress on Al's joints. For that reason, he is available as a companion-only horse. An ideal home for Al would include a lot of turnout time so he doesn't get stiff from standing in a stall for too long. Al enjoys the company of other horses and would do best in a home where he is not the only horse.
We recognize that a horse like Al will take longer to re-home than younger, rideable horses. We are committed to taking care of this big boy until the perfect family comes along. Your donations towards taking care of his monthly costs would be greatly appreciated.
Louisville has the edge in the series, besting Syracuse for 18 of their 27 meetings on the court. Syracuse fans are hoping for a repeat of last year's success when they beat Louisville 78-73 on the road. The game is on Wednesday February 20th at 7 pm at the Carrier Dome. The game will air on ESPN. These tickets include a parking pass. Assuming the $250 goal is reached, the tickets will be awarded on Friday February 1st.
