Volunteer Spotlight

Dominick and Carolyn Nicoletti joined the Sunshine Volunteer family after we moved to our new home in Clay, NY.  Dominick, a licensed electrician, noticed that most of our lighting at the farm consists of old incandescent bulbs.  Dominick took it upon himself to solicit local electric contractors and suppliers to donate bulbs and fixtures to Sunshine so that all of our lighting can be upgraded to more efficient LED lighting.  This change will not only provide better lighting for our volunteers but will also decrease Sunshine's electric costs significantly.

Dominick and Carolyn also sponsor Sunshine Ambassador Baron.  Dominick will often come to visit Baron when he gets off work and take him for walks and give him special treats.  We are lucky to have such dedicated volunteers who donate their time and expertise to our mission.

Business Spotlight

Runnings of Clay, NY has been a strong supporter of Sunshine since our move to Clay last May.  They have donated items to our Open House and earlier this year donated a pallet of food for our herd.  This week they donated an additional 3 palettes of horse feed for our herd.  That will save Sunshine $1,650.  Thank you to Runnings for your generosity and support of our mission.
