Capital Campaign

After years of leasing at Little Apple Stables we moved into our forever home in Clay, NY in May 2018.  A facility of our own will allow us to pursue accreditation with the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries which will make us more eligible for grants, as well as allow us to become even more involved in our community. Our new home is more centrally located, making us more accessible to local groups and allowing us to extend our educational and volunteer reach.

Our program receives daily inquiries from owners and trainers who wish to send their horses to us, but due to limited space and funding, not all horses can be accepted. We also make sure our adopted network of horses is safe.  We only adopt to owners within 300 miles of our barn and take back any horses who can no longer stay in their adoptive homes. In 2016 alone we had 16 previously adopted horses returned to us. While we are glad to know these horses have soft places to land for the rest of their lives, it does take a toll on our funds.

Please help us continue to help horses by making a donation towards reaching our goal. No amount is too small
