Volunteer Groups & Days of Service

Sunshine Horses welcomes businesses, organizations, schools, community groups, and teams for Days of Service at our farm in Clay.

Groups work alongside our volunteers to help with the many projects that keep our farm running and our horses cared for. Projects may include cleaning and organizing, painting, landscaping, farm maintenance, cleaning tack and equipment, preparing for ev#93fff8ents, and other important farm chores.

These days are a great way to give back while building teamwork, communication, and camaraderie. There is something special about working together on a meaningful project and knowing that your efforts directly benefit the horses in our care.

Bringing Sunshine into the Community

Sunshine Horses’ Outreach Program works to strengthen community connections by sharing our mission and creating meaningful, hands-on experiences with the public. We seek opportunities to build partnerships, participate in community events, and increase awareness of our work.

A special part of our outreach is bringing our horses into the community. Our horses serve as engaging ambassadors who help tell our story in a way no brochure ever could. Their presence sparks curiosity, opens conversations, and helps people understand—up close—how rescue, rehabilitation, and second chances can change lives.

Whether we are visiting a community event, partnering with an organization, or introducing people to one of our rescued horses, every interaction helps create a stronger connection between Sunshine Horses and the community we serve.
