Description:
Meet Sky!  He is a 6 year old Standardbred who is excited to start his new life.  He came from the Saratoga racetrack where it is reported that everyone loved him in the barn. 
Sky joined the Sunshine family on October 1, 2025.  Sky is finding his way in the herd and very curious about everyone and everything.  He is the barn greeter, wanting to talk to everyone that walks past his stall. He stands well on cross ties for grooming. 
He has just begun working on ground work in the arena.  He is a bit cautious of his new surroundings but willing to explore with his trainer.  We look forward to all the great things Sky will do in his training process to become ready for adoption.
UPDATE: Sky is currently one of the Standardbred participating in the ReBrand Initiative Competition. He is working with a very skilled trainer in PA and will be showcased with 4 other Standardbreds at the National Standardbred Show in New Jersey. He is truly special.
