After a brief racing career, Tommy is now beginning an exciting new chapter. We have started him with foundational groundwork and are now introducing him to lunging. With his sweet personality and enthusiastic, willing attitude, Tommy is already showing great promise.

Although we've only had him for just a little while, his eagerness to learn and explore new skills gives us confidence that he has a bright future as a riding horse.

UPDATE: Tommy has been riding weekly at a walk in the arena, now using a hackamore bridle. Since the switch, he’s shown a much better attitude—less head swinging and more willingness to work. He stands quietly on the cross ties and continues to improve, though lunging is still a work in progress in both directions. He hasn’t been ridden outside the arena yet, but he’s making steady progress.
